inside north korea
i made the new logo and i was really proud of it! but then i looked at it on a different computer at school and the color was yellow and it looked bad. does it look like that for a lot of you? oops! i'll fix that soon.
lately i've been getting ready for a screening we had tonight! LiNK is doing their tour with Lisa Ling's documentary, "Inside North Korea". Lisa Ling goes into North Korea with an eye doctor, who helps people see again by removing their cataracts. They secretly tape footage of the city and the people. It is super interesting and gives a lot of insight to why and how the typical North Korean person acts or thinks. Or at least their noble citizens.
You can watch it on youtube: here. If you have an extra hour sometime, I'd really recommend it. A lot goes on in North Korea that people don't know.
We only advertised for it yesterday and today, and we had a pretty good turn out! Even with everyone campaigning for elections, it was good! And I got over my fear of handing out flyers. People are so nice! The West Nomads are here for a couple of nights, and I'm excited to hang out more with them.
Here are some pictures of our advertising and the screening. I am so proud of our chapter! We have less than 10 members, but everyone is super committed and it's amazing. I am so inspired and encouraged. We do a lot, even though we're small and I'm really proud of everyone!
