hiring for a production assistant

i’m hiring! everglow handmade is looking for a production assistant. the production assistant will be responsible for packaging products, managing inventory & all of the miscellaneous, small things that come up. i am looking for a fun, joyful person to work with & help grow my small business. 

this position in based in SE Portland. 

i am looking for someone who:

• loves doing repetitive tasks, working with your hands

• is very detail-oriented, while working quickly + efficiently

• can complete tasks in a timely matter + prioritize what needs to be done next

• loves systems + organization

• is a self-starter, takes the initiative to take new tasks on + is always looking for ways to improve things

• communicates clearly with a fun, positive attitude

• availability during the holiday months

• loves making things pretty

you will be: 

• packaging items with extra care. packaging includes: sleeving products, banding items, etc.

• checking products for quality

• maintaining & organizing product inventory

• doing more things that aren’t mentioned here as the position grows :)

other details:

• this position requires sitting/standing for long periods of time & occasionally picking up/moving heavy items

• this position will work out of my studio in SE Portland

• hours & scheduling are flexible, starting at around 8-10 hours/month with potential to grow at $18/hour
