invites: lisa & aki
my cousin got married this month & i was so honored that she asked me to design her wedding invitations. this actually is the first wedding suite i have ever made! i have made silly little mock-ups for my etsy shop that never sold, and those don't count. this is the first time that i have made a full on suite, and i'm kind of embarrassed that i didn't make an invitation suite earlier because it was SO much fun putting it together and seeing it come alive. i loved it so much and am definitely going to focus on invitation suites in the future.
their wedding colors were navy with a hint of peach. the bridesmaids wore navy dresses, but the bouquets featured the peach. it's the perfect color combo that i would've never thought of myself, i love how they work together. i loved putting the wreath/greenery together at the bottom of the invite. my favorite piece hands down is the envelope liner. it is so fun & really pulls the suite together. my mom had it displayed in her kitchen for a few weeks and i was so honored - it's not everyday that people want to hang up the envelope liner!
all in all, it was so fun putting together this suite - especially for my first time. thanks so much, lisa & aki, for trusting me with such an important piece of your wedding. cheers to you both & your wonderful future together! <3
