LINK concert

We had the LINK benefit concert this past Friday. Space Music, Adventure Galley and Greenlander all played at the Onyx House. It was sooo awesomee and super fun. We had ads on campus that we posted and spent the days before handing out flyers on campus. Not as many people came as I hoped for, but we still raised a considerable amount of money towards resettling a North Korean refugee.

Space Music asked me the night before to design and make some CD cases for their "Robo Girlfriend Single". It was really fun! I LOVEDD IT. Haha, I ended up making thirty copies of it, just folding, cutting and glueing paper together to make CD slips. I also did a lot for the concert, which was fun. I set up the LINK and Space Music table in the back, and then I was in charge of the backdrop for the concert. I didn't have a ton of supplies, but I had some big sheets of watercolor paper and acrylics, which I made the letters out of. I used some linens from the church and attached the letters to it with sewing thread and safety pins. I was super pleased with how it came out. It was so simple, but it was definitely the look I was going for.

It was a great benefit and I'm super glad that we did it! We raised a lot of awareness about the North Korea crisis, and it was fun! Yesss.
